We invite you to join the Dayton Section of the American Chemical Society (Dayton Section) and to get involved: attend a Dayton Section monthly meeting or symposium, find your niche and join a committee, participate in outreach activities, and network with this wonderful community.

The American Chemical Society now offers THREE membership packages. The Basic Package starts with access to limited benefits and scientific content. The ​Standard Package offers opportunity for Member-only awards, grants, and fellowships and up to 3 Technical Division memberships for the first year. The Premium Package includes 40% discount on ACS Meetings & Events registration fees, Access to the ACS Webinars® Library and much more. The Dayton Local Section membership is only $10.

How do I become an ACS member?

If I am an ACS member who lives outside of the Dayton Section geographic area, how may I become a Dayton Section member?

To change your local section affiliation, please contact ACS Member Services by email at [email protected] or at 1-800-333-9511.

I have recently relocated and now live within the Dayton Section geographic area. How do I officially become a Dayton Section member?

Update your primary mailing address in your ACS member profile at acs.org.

Am I required to pay Dayton Section dues in order to be a Dayton Section member?

No. However, we would appreciate your payment of local section dues in order to help support the many activities of our local section.

What does it mean to be a full ACS member, student member, or affiliate?
