Statement

I have been engaged with the Section over the past few years and have served in multiple capacities.  If elected, I plan to improve the section’s engagement both within the section and with the broader STEM community.  To do this, I plan to review how we have engaged both the rest of the section and the community as a whole with the Executive Committee, and find ways to both enhance the successful activities we currently do and to focus on new approaches to improve member and public engagement with the Society and chemistry as a whole.
